George Karalis

Owner and Project Manager

​In addition to his 25 years as a carpenter in residential remodeling, George also spent time as a child working on commercial job sites with his uncle in Waltham.

As a project manager, George prides himself on being an excellent communicator with his clients, employees, and subcontractors.  He is regularly on site as he carefully orchestrates each phase of the project.

George lives in Chestnut Hill with his wife and two daughters. On evenings and weekends, he is most often found at a hockey rink or soccer field cheering on his girls.

Rasim

Lead Carpenter

Rasim was born the youngest of five children in a small town in Turkey, where his mother had a huge garden and his father kept bees when he wasn’t working as a carpenter for the railroad. Later the family moved to Istanbul, where he attended school and worked part time for an HVAC company. 

When he was 18, he moved to the U.S. and worked in his sister’s restaurant until deciding to pursue a career in carpentry.

When he isn’t at work, he has plenty of projects to keep him busy at his own fixer-upper in Watertown. ​Rasim also has his pilot’s license and enjoys flying in his free time.

Lisa

Web Design & Assistant

Lisa works with Karalis Construction on a part time basis.  She supports the team with administrative tasks, web site maintenance and social media updates.

On most days, you can find Lisa in the classroom where she is busy teaching fifth graders.
